Hi Prinston and welcome.
I am so sorry to hear about your current anxiety levels.:(
You mentioned medication, so I am assuming that you are under a doctor's care...have you mentioned that you are not feeling well under your plan at this time?
Depending on the circumstances...you may either need to give your med more time to be effective (if it has been under 10-12 weeks of starting it) or you may need to discuss a possible switch. (if you are past the initial stage of start up.)
This is assuming that you are taking an SSRI/SNRI type of A/D medication. You could also ask about a quick acting, take as needed, benzodiazepine to help you control the actute attacks when they happen. (if you haven't already)
Have you also considered the option of therapy? Many of us here, myself included, have found it to be of incredible benefit! You can ask your doctor about a possible referral.
Still another great tool is self help. You will find all sorts of wonderful ideas and information in our Resources. (main page, 1st post) Try the breathing and relaxation exercises (video links) 3x a day, for a week and see how you feel.:)
Keep posting with us as well. Support and understanding are key, and you will find plenty of both here!
Talk to you soon,
Scaredy Cat
