Hi Josh_o1 and welcome.:)
First of all...big breath...it is going to be allright.
So much of what you have written is completely familiar to what I have read in other posts here...and some I have experienced myself (the health anxiety and panic attacks.
Our minds often seek reasons for the symptoms and way that anxiety makes us feel...leading us to doubt our health, sanity and even reality.
However, these scary misconceptions have one common denominator...anxiety.
You can see by reading your post, that your anxious brain has tried to tell you that you have some dreaded disease...schizophrenia, or that your life is not actually the reality that you have been living and think that it is.
These are all fears that have come out of anxiety overload...nothing more.
Have you sought the help of your doctor for dealing with this? He/she can discuss your options with you and help you to come up with a treatment plan.
I personally recommend therapy as a long term anxiety management tool. I was relieved of my panic attacks in this way, and now manage my anxiety well.
We also have a great Resource Guide here on our main page (1st post) that is full of great ideas that could get you started today. The breathing and relaxation exercises are especially helpful if practiced daily.;)
Keep posting with us as well. We are a close group of friends who understand and care for eachother, and we welcome you and hope that you will allow us to support you through your journey to wellness!
Talk to you soon,
Scaredy Cat
p.s. yours is probaly the 5th or 6th post that I have read in regards to the movie 'Inception' freaking them completely out...I will NOT be watching this movie...it is obviously not an anxious person's friend!!
