You are supposed to follow doctors orders. They have me on the dose just 1 higher than yours and told me if 1 doesn't cut it then I can take two, at once. So, I'm on .5 mg which is double yours and was told to take two of them if those don't cut it.

You should double check with your doctor first though, if you ask the nurse when calling they can ask your doc and get back with you usually pretty quickly.

MM, did you have any food on your stomach? these things work
best several hours after eating, are you planning to take one at
bed time?
What I don't understand is xanax works best used as a as needed
drug, taking them every 8 hours almost guarantees some addiction if you miss one say after a month, you could really feel
bad. I'm not a doctor but a professional patient, lol you can email
