I truely don't know what this is that Ive been having for a long time&I can tell when it's on the way,because I get real sleepy&can't keep my eyes open at all to the point Iam made to go to sleep my body shuts down. I end up half way sleep&then its like my brain shuts off for a 2nd and Iam in zombie land like and I jerk quickly out my sleep it happen a few times. With truth it feels like small mini seizures&it's scary as heck all I could do was pray Lord let me find out whats going on with me please don't let it be to late,I rather know what Iam dealing with then not to know at all and I mean that with everything in me to.

Dawn what you have described is a low blood sugar symptom, I
have them also, a lot of people are afraid of them, but my doctor
who manages my diabetes told me that even if one passes out they will recover, they may feel like heck but the only danger is
if you are driving or operating machinery. I tried to mail you several times last night! Peace

Are you sure thats what it's I did test my sugar&it was a 79 so it was dropping&I will be going to urgent care on my day off, and if I have to stay all day to get test done so be it. Want eat are drink amything I have to get this test done no waiting anymore,must know if Iam diabetic are not don't w don't want to hear borderline its either yes or no.

I saw email this morning when got up I have been wondering what this was and it got me in worry land,mind on overload I with.truth want to run to the other side of the world& would relax all my fears&stress away doing my breathing keep praying for me and healing over my body because this is something else.

Dawn don't get upset, these low blood sugar episodes are not the same as full diabetes, and if its just that you can control it with diate and light exercise. So don't get upset.
What you might try is the next time you have one of these sinking spells, test at the start and when you think it's at its worse, then you will have better data to give the doctor.
The best test is a glucose tolerance test, they run from 4-7 hrs.
and shows the bodys ability to bring overload down to normal, with people like me the curve is very slow and lasts many hours longer than it should. Peace

I get hypoglycemia episodes everyday. I've been tested and retested. They told me I do not have diabetes. This started for me after I had my boys. I control it by eating small frequent meals through out the day. It's not good for your weight but he told me to always eat a snack (healthy) right before I go to bed.
Like Larry said I have passes out from this and it was no fun but I did recover rather quickly. I always keep snacks in my purse. It also gives me a peace of mind having them.

Go get tested. If for nothing else it will ease your mind.
