Hello.
I've had problems with anxiety for most of my adult life, up until about 8 years ago. That was when I began eating a paleo diet. My anxiety decreased dramatically. It only rarely bothers me, and its never that bad.
I'm still eating a mostly-paleo diet. The only non-paleo food I eat now is white rice (I need some starch with each meal or I just don't feel good).
There are many websites that explain the paleo diet. Mark Sisson may have the best: marksdailyapple dot com. Basically, a paleo diet is one that looks like what our ancestors ate for 2+ million years, before the agricultural revolution began 10,000 years ago. So the diet is meat, fish & seafood, vegetables, fruit, nuts and berries. No grains, no dairy, no sugar (except that which is naturally found in fruits and veggies), no legumes (beans, lentils, peanuts, soy), no alcohol, and no caffeine (and of course no tobacco). And most vegetables oils are out. But some vegetables oils are okay: olive oil, coconut oil, and walnut oil.
If you're not finding relief from other means, then you may want to try a paleo diet. I hope it helps you as much as it's helped me.
