Irrational Shaking

I think I just need someone to acknowledge that I'm struggling, without making me feel like less of a person because of it. I love my job, and I am good at it. I can say that with confidence because there are not many things that I am good at doing, so I recognize when things are going well. Due to the nature of my job and the fact that I am good at what I do, I am frequently required to give presentations or in-service trainings. I have selective mutism - a disorder that is supposed to go away before middle school, so talking has never been one of my strengths. I have acquired an arsenol of coping strategies and, for the most part, I do alright. I don't have a very loud voice (my brothers used to lock me out of the house when we were little and say they wouldn't let me in until they could hear me from inside. It didn't make me louder, I just became more inventive in my problem solving). One of my biggest triggers is when people tell me I'm talking too quietly or that they can't hear me and ask me to talk louder. To avoid this trigger I wear a headset at work with a clip-on speaker. That way I can just slide the volume control and keep going without thinking.

Now, after that long explanation, I am presenting with the boss and 3 other collegues in the morning. This isn't a problem, I do it all the time. However, I have been shaking for 4 hours because as I was finalizing my presentation and ensuring everything was ready for the morning, the boss informed me that the conference room is being painted tomorrow and we will be presenting in another room that doesn't have a sound system. That is fine for me because I always use my own headset anyway, but she asserted that the rest of the presenters are going to need to use my head set as well. I guess I didn't realize how much of a 'security blanket' it has become for me. It shouldn't be a problem. I did learn to share as a child. Nothing is going to happen. I present first, then I just need to hand-off my headset and listen. It will be returned after the training, I can sanitize my microphone and wear it the rest of the day for anyone who desires to speak with me. I know it's irrational. Locigally, I know everything is fine and my anxiety is just trying to find a hold. I know this. But I still can't stop shaking!

Sorry for the long rant. I just needed to get it out and I don't know anyone who wouldn't act like I've had a psychotic break if I told them.

Thanks. I'm not nervous. I refuse to entertain that emotion. My brain is just spinning crazy because my tool that I need in order to socially function and maintain a semblance of normalcy is being taken from me for other people to use who have no idea as to what power they have over me. I literally cannot talk without it, but for them it's just a nice convenience. Maybe I'm a little bitter about the situation.
