I experienced my first anxiety and panic attack a month and a half ago. Rushed to the ER thinking I was having a heart attack. After 3 ekg a stresss test, blood work, gall bladder check, thryoid check. I am 90 percent sure my heart is ok. lol. Im on some pretty good meds that seem to keep the anxiety levels lower and from becoming a full blown attack. Went to the GI and did an endoscopy. He said I have a peptic ulcer, esophagitus, and haitel hernia or however you spell it. But strangely enough I still get left chest pain left shoulder, neck and jaw pain mostly everyday. It's not unbearable just an inconvenience more than anything. When I stew too much makes me think of the possiblity of a form angina that hasn't been detected. But the good news is my anxiety has been so much better. My shrink started me on prozac 30mg a day and klonopin as needed and it does seem to help a lot. I do get some dizzy spells from it on occasssion though. Just wish I could figure out these symptoms that love to immitate a heart attack on a daily basis
