I've had a hell of a week. We have been trying to battle against ticks. I've had pest control out numerous times. I had them out again yesterday. I had to let my dogs in. They have their own treatment through the vet but it isn't helping. So I had 2 days of standard house cleaning and I was just worn out. So when the guy came yesterday I thought I'd just pick the ticks off while they were in the house. Well when I got to my big guys belly he had probably 200 near his man parts. I rushed all my dogs to the vets groomer. While they were there I had to come home and clean again. But I had to do deep cleaning. Vaccuming everything, washing rugs and bedding. It was a nightmare.
To add to it my doctor switched my medication. I was on just Klonopin and remeron. But now he told me to stop the remeron "I think" and put me on lexapro and seroquil. So I wake up sore today but have had this severe panic attack feeling since I woke up. Shivering and heart racing. I don't know if its the new medication switch or if I'm just exhausted.

Probably a combination of both!
It sounds like you worked yourself to the point of exhaustion yesterday...and I don't blame you, ticks are not something you can ignore! I am getting the shivers just thinking about
it.;0
I hope that you have a clear idea about
what your doctor wants you to do in regards to your Rx...it reads like you are not certain?
Can you call and get some clarification if you need it?
Wishing you the best...let us know how you are doing soon.

Yeah I'm unsure if I was suppose to stop the remeron. But I ran a drug interaction thing and according to that I'm not even suppose to combine the lexapro with the seroquel. So I don't know. I'm gonna have to email him because my next appointment is in 3 months. He gave me the new 2 because he said my anxiety is just too severe.
Any yes the ticks have been driving me crazy. And it's worse knowing I just can't get rid of them.

:(...
Hopefully the season is almost over...and you are getting sprayed, so that should at least control the surrounding area and your yard...but you'll have to continue to check your dogs if they go out.
Yes, please call/e-mail your doctor and get clear directions on what you should be taking. I really don't want to see you not getting the benefits that you need, or having an interaction issue.
The med check sites tend to err on the side of caution, so go with what your doctor recommends...and if you are still concerned, ask your pharmacist, as they have vast knowledge in this area.:)
Best wishes!

Boy they replied back quick. Thank goodness because I did it wrong. I took the lexapro and seroquel last night and skipped the remeron. I'm suppose to do lexapro in morning and seroquel and remeron at night.

Well second day of medication and I just can't handle the side effects. I thought I could stick it out but my phobia with my stomach and these pills making it worse. I was given lexapro for anxiety, and seroquel for my anxiety and to help me sleep. But I stay nauseated all day and I literally can't eat. My pills cause me to get extremely drowsy but I can't stay asleep. I probably get 3-4 hours of deep sleep but then I'm restless in bed for hours and stay nauseated. I really hate paying for all these pills and giving up on them but I just can't handle it. Not to mention I tremble like an old lady.

I am sorry...it can be so frustrating to find what is going to work for you in terms of anxiety management vs. the side effects, and the symptoms that are already giving you problems!
Take some time to re-group, then call your doctor, explain that your current meds are not tolerable, and see if you can go in a different direction.
Wishing you patience and wellness...keep us updated.

Thanks S C. It is so frustrating! It seems like the only thing I've ever been given was Navane and lithium in the past. I don't know what for but I know they didnt make me feel bad. Just the Navane I had a severe reaction to and had to go to the hospital. But I was given kogenten (I don't know how to spell it) and Benadryl. Those were to keep me from getting all cramped up again. By the time I reached the hospital I was almost in a ball. Couldn't move my head or arms and my teeth were so clenched I almost bit my tounge off.

Oh goodness...make sure that is in your medical chart and that your current prescribing doctor is aware...as you should not have any meds in the same family as the Navane.
I wish you the best, and really hope that you can find something that is going to work for you A.S.A.P.
You will get there...just keep working with your doctor, and try to not get discouraged.
We are here for you, and will cheer you on along the way to feeling better!
