Hi and welcome.:)
I am sorry to hear of your sleep issues. It can be very hard to get back on track after one's sleep pattern gets off...and of course the more worried you are about it, the worse it gets.
Cutting out caffeine and electronic devices a few hours before sleeping are a great start. You can also try some exercise during the day as a natural sleep inducer, as well as PGR (progressive muscle relaxation) deep breathing and meditation before bedtime.
There are a number of natural suppliments that you can look into with your parent's help. Melatonin is a substance that our bodies produce naturally, and helps support the circadian rhythms that ensure healthy sleep patterns.
Binaural beats (sound wave therapy) is also a good choice for some. (my daughter had good resultls with this) It induces theta brain waves that are present in a sleep state. You can find downloads on youtube and app stores for this.
I wish you the best. Post with us anytime for understanding and support.;)
