I am sorry that you had a rought night and that you are struggling with these fears.
To reassure you about
your breathing, it may help to understand how it works. Your respiratory rate is set by the ANS...(autonomic nervous system) but has a conscious aspect as well. We know this because we
can hold our breath.
However, we will eventually be forced by the system to take a breath, so our respiration is not limited by our will, but rather an automatic function.

Try to decompress with as many coping skills as you can learn and do. (see our Resources) This will help lower your overall stress levels, and hopefully your symptoms.:)
