D,
I think I am one of the lucky ones...
I bounce between the last two on the survey. I do love my job. I get a lot of creative freedom, it is fun and fulfilling and it is different everyday.
It is hard however. I do have freedom, but with that comes responsibility. I also have to sell my product...myself! I am a dance teacher/choreographer, and my students are there purely by choice...if I don't 'bring it' in my teaching style and choreography...my classes aren't going to fill.
I think that with any job, you are going to have a mix of feelings and experiences.
There are going to be juxtapositions of boredom/feeling overwhelmed, being micro-managed/being given no clear direction. There is also bound to be stress, both pertaining to the job, and on an interpersonal levels with co-workers.
However, if your job is causing you undue stress, and seems to be the main source of your anxiety, then you may want to consider making some changes.
Have you talked with your boss/supervisor about any problems/issues that you would like to discuss, and possibly change to make your workday easier? Many times that is all it takes...to alert them to the things that they may not even be aware of. When done constructively, they are often appreciate of feedback, and like when employees take initiative and troubleshoot .;)
Wishing you a good rest of the workday.

I love my actual work - it's a mix of everything I love. It involves photography, writing and art. I have a lot of freedom in how I do things.
However, my boss and most of our corporate management are awful. I'm on very tight deadlines. As in, 45 seconds late is enough to get written up, if your boss wants to.
Like S.C. said, any job will be a mix of good and bad.
When I'm okay emotionally, it's my dream job.
When I'm not okay emotionally, it seems to increase each and every symptom until I'm not functional. For the past year or two, I've cried in my car on the way home almost every single day.
I'm on sick leave right now. I go back in just over a week. I'm scared to death.
But, I can't think of a job I'd rather have - I just am not up to it AT ALL right now.
I marked the top answer tonight. Three years ago, I would have marked the bottom. Hopefully, I'll get my disorders under control and be ready to mark that bottom one again soon enough.
