Health Anxiety, now its OVC

Its me again!!! Saw today symptoms of Ovarian Cancer. I havent had "constant" symtoms but mimic symtpoms of gallbladder issues but gallbladder tests have come back fine. No bloating that ive noticed. more so achy pain under right boob, but today and yesterday i have felt like i have had ovary pain and dont know if its all in my head! :(

maybe its ovulation pain? Now im scared im infertile or something its on my right side. near my him and my right back. anyone experience similar issues. I had my period about 2 weeks ago so it would make since im ovulating just dont remeber feeling like this. Maybe its just all ive been through lately idk! UGH!

i dont see my GYNO for 2 more months but see my regular GP in 13 days to follow up the start of my .25mg Zoloft which i started last night and made my stomach upset :( i just want to feel better and not feel like something is wrong with me. all this pain is so real.

I had the same thing...same concerns in the back of my mind...turns out it was IBS related. IBS and anxiety are closely related for some people...and it can present as just pain, or along with other symptoms.

I am sure that it is nothing to worry about. If you are really worried, you can have your GP discuss it with you at your upcoming appointment.

p.s....and I almost hate to mention it,(anxiety sufferers and our power of suggestion!) but lower right side pain should just be monitored to rule out appendix issues. You are surely fine, but go in if you develop nausea/vomiting or fever.

scardy cat. Yes i have done an abdominal ultrasound when they thought it was my gallbladder and i know they look at the appendix and also had a CT scan when i had a kidney stone but i dont think either would should my ovaries. I have been gettiing indigestion and burping a lot recently out of the blue a long with chest pains on and off for 2 1/2-3 mo. Just yesterday and today in my mind im relating it to OVC. the only thing keeping me sane is no bloating. Not sure if this is just ovulation pain and i never noticed it before but its lasted all day :(

I have lost some weight in the past 3 months about 15lbs but my doc said thats normal with anxiety/depression. Still scares me i just got on zoloft yesterday and after taking it had an upset stomach and every since havent had an appetite. I dont want to loose anymore weight because weight to me goes to cancer . Take the 2nd dose tonight. they are .25mg so idk why i would already be having side effects.

since i have had normal CBC bloodwork, CT scan when i had a kidney stone, upper GI scope, and abdominal ultrasound

Im not sure if any of these test would should a hint to OVC or not if they werent looking for it so im trying to figure out if any of these test would at least show something abnormal. I got back to the doc in 2 weeks to see how im doing on the zoloft and almost want to demand a transvaginal ultrasound. Yes or no?

I personally wouldn't. I decided a while ago, that if I was going to recover from my health anxiety, that I would need to trust my doctor(s) and the routine tests that were reasonable to undergo for my age/current health.

I believe that the second guessing, google research and seeking further testing after one's doctor has determined not necessary, just feeds into the anxiety.

Unless you have a definitive reason...other than your fear/anxiety that something else is wrong, than I would put my energy and focus on anxiety management/treatment. :)

thanks for asking. not too good my HA is really stressing my BF out. It ruined my Bday, still 90% of the time feel like somethings wrong

achy hip and leg today still doesnt help the HA

If you had an abdominal CT Scan and anything was cooking in your belly it would have shown up.  If they included the pelvic region any problem with your female organs would have shown up unless they are to small to be detected.

Knowing you have health anxiety,  I would talk to my Dr. re your concern and take this person's advice.  You might ask for a CA125 lab test however if you don't have any family history or sx indicating you may have something wrong with your ovaries, some insurance companies may not pay for this test.

I have known some women to pay for the test themselves.

I suspect you anxiety is kicking in however, I am not a Dr. so I cannot say for sure you are OK.

yes i know i keep telling myself my CT scan when i went to the ER for suspected kidney stones would of shown something if i was in so much pain from it. Also had an abdominal ultrasound which may of included my ovaries i dont really know. im not sure. i need to get the paperwork myself. I havent really had lower abdominal pain til recently kinda sounds like "mid cycle" (Mittelschmerz) sounds similar to what ive been feeling, just lasting a few days so my HA i kicking in because of my leg pain too. I dont have bloating though but have just lost so much weight over thiss whole process i hoping is just from stress and anxiety.


but cant convince myself. My bf is getting stressed out about it too because he feels like its him. He came to see me this weekend and coulnt make me feel better all i foucsed on was my pain.

im also experience sciatica nerve pain in the right leg and cant help but fear that its related to my OVC fears. and the pain ive been experiencing
