Sorry that you feel so isolated. I can relate to your feelings. You are right
these issues are a big drain ,rob your energy and stop our productivity.
I can only have a idea of what you feel, but do relate to me against the world,
cause I feel it.
The 12 step program you refer to sounds like you are doing the right thing.
I dont know about your program, but you deserve credit for your efforts
and is there something in it that you can refocus, review to help you.
I myself have never found a decent therapist, but you may have better luck
if you have insurance.
There is a self help information and CBT resources on this forum you can look at.
Please no you are not alone. I know you cant help to some degree, by all
means give yourself a break and try not to analyze your anxiety to the point
it drives you nuts.
It is hard to find someone who relates, and to be fair you can not expect someone to know exactly what you feel. I was once explaining my situation
to someone and then they got a call from a call trying to solicit something
to them. Well that is related to how I try to make a living so I then said to
them - imagine you had to depend on that for money. Their face changed
in disgust, and they said "no,no, never". Then they related.
Anyways, also physical exercise is also good for your mental outlook. try and find something you like or at least okay with.
