Anxiety & Dizzyness????

I have recently gotten blood work done at my doctors office for dizziness that I have been having. This dizziness is very erratic and I am not sure why I am havein this problem..... When they did my blood work they found out that i have a low platelet count. 103 to be exact... I am having a lot of anxiety about this and I am not sure what the results mean. When I talked to the nurse she said there is no reason for me to have low platelets and they want to do another blood draw in November and see if they are still low and if they are then they are going to do further testing. has anyone else had this before? I get bad headaches, and feel dizzy and just really tired sometimes and i am wondering if the onset of this dizzy stuff with everything else is the result of having low platelets. I know it has a lot to do with your blood, could this be something to do with anemia?

Try not to worry about anything at this point. Many people have test results that are not in the average, and that does not always indicate that something is wrong...but do the retest and see what your doctor recommends.

It could come out to be within range this time, or it could be just your normal level...if there is something that you doctor feels needs to be done at that point, then you will have a plan at least.

The symptoms that you are experiencing could just be part of your anxiety. They are certainly common ones, so try not to read anything else into them at this point.
