From Every Day Health website:
Brain Tumor Lifetime Risk
In general, there is a less than a 1 percent chance of developing a malignant CNS or brain tumor over the course of one’s lifetime.
That is an incredibably small number!
There are so many other possibilities that you should discuss with your doctor...such as migraines, alignment issues in the upper body, and of course anxiety.
You also need to discuss your use of pain meds, as large quanitites can cause stomach or liver/kidney issues after time.
You will want to come up with a plan to deal with what is causing your headaces and how to properly treat them.:)
Can I suggest starting with stretching of the shoulders/neck, hydration (drinks 8, 80z cups of water a day) and Progressive Muscle Relaxation, breathing and meditation exercises everyday?
Also, have you had a chance to check out the books on health anxiety in the Resources? They could really help you!
Try to relax, talk with your doctor...and let us know what he/she says.:)
