funeral of my surgeon

the surgeon who just did my hand surgery died in a plane crash on sunday. his funeral is today. is it strange for me to go? he was such a nice man.

his father is a u.s. senator though and it will be crazy i'm sure. only thing stopping me if I don't go.

I can't answer what you should do Hazelnut, but maybe you could go to the cemetery and just stand off to the side if that would make you feel better. My thoughts are with you. Have you been able to find a new Dr yet?

I had just finished my treatment with him. saw him for 3 months off and on. he was a great guy - super tragedy. I was just thinking if all his patients went it would be a lot of people. idk

well it's a church downtown where I work. I wouldn't go to the gravesite.

I don't think it is ever wrong to go and pay respect for a kind person who has touched your life.

If you are able, and want to go, why not do so? I am sure that the family would love to see all of the people whom their loved one helped.
