Day 6 of Prozac

Hi All,

I'm on day 6 of Prozac, most days have been side effect free, today I woke up and was dizzy, and really have had the feeling off and on all day. Was really weird, went to lay down for my nap before and got dizzy laying down. Will this go away, I know dizziness is a symptom of it. I have a call into my Dr. I just want to get thru the bad of a pill to get the good instead of switching meds all the time.

Sorry to hear that you had a rough time of it today. See how you feel tomorrow, and what your doctor has to say.

Dizzyness can also be an anxiety symptom. I don't take meds, but deal with this issue occasionally.

Doing your breathing exercises should bring some relief, since this can be a result of rapid/shallow breathing from being anxious.

Let us know how you are feeling tomorrow, and what you find out from talking with your doctor.

I'm starting to think it's something else, as I am only dizzy if I look down. Will call my Dr tomorrow about it.

Maybe it is inner ear related then? She will check I am sure.

I didn't have to go in, I have Positional Vertigo, since it's not really severe, she told me I can wait it out. I only get the Vertigo when I look down, so I try not to, she said that the calcium crystals in my ears will reposition and all will be fine, so I will ride it out.....Thanks for asking!!! yeah
