One of the most powerful tools for me in dealing with anxiety is exercise.
I recently got a new PT (I like my new PT!) and he's great. He "gets" me, he understands.
He also gets me to work very hard, taking the "fight" out of me, and by the time he's done with me, I'm happy as a loon for several hours. It has residual benefits.
When my body can tolerate it, a walk with my dog in the woods...the only noise I'll hear are the leaves beneath my feet and his paws, and the babbling brook that runs up and down near the path.
Ahh....
