groverpower,Good for you for remembering you had a great tool right handy at home. I find that when I am faithful to something that has been working for me I will slowly let it go and than when my anxiety spikes I have an aha moment.
Journaling is one thing that helps me but when I feel good I get lazy and think I don't need to waste time today on journaling - but I should have.
