LMA is correct. It is actually a lot more common to have anxiety, as in GAD than to have panic attacks/panic disorder.
You may hear more about panic in association with anxiety, because it tends to get people's attention a bit more!
I think that many people may have GAD and not even be aware, as they have just learned to live with the symptoms.
Also in the anxiety spectrum are OCD and PTSD...again, getting a bit more attention, and harder to pass off as "just stress"
So the answer to your question is absolutely.
However, if you are concerned specifically about one or more physical symptoms, then you should be checked out thoroughly by your doctor.
However, if you have done so, and all it well...then you can now safely focus on your anxiety treatment.;)
