having a rough night!!!

well. i havent been here for quite sometime. But i am back.after having a horrible dream last night that i was having a heart attack, i havent been right all day. Ive been anxious, hot, nauseas, left arm pain, tight chest, etc. . Im afraid i'll relapse back into my old ways of obsessing!!! maybe something is realy wrong with my heart!!!! Idk :(

Have you had any tests done? Usually those of us with anxiety obsess over having a serious heart problem (and Ill admit I am one of them!) Ive had a ton of tests done and more coming up this week as well. So far everything is "fine" and just a few skipped beats here and there, which comes along with anxiety. If you are worried, Id go to a cardiologist (like I did , on my own, twice - because my PCP is convinced its my anxiety causing all of these symptoms that I relate to heart diease) and have them do some tests and explain your symptoms. Once everything comes back normal, you'll be reassured you're ok and these heart condition thoughts can leave your mind and you can sit back and rest again. I myself cannot wait until all these tests are OVER and I have some answers or reassurance! A big weight will be off of my shoulders and i'll be one step forward!

It's anxiety , I had all the heart test and the last big test you can have a cardiac cath and everything was clean , it's a year and half later and I'm still here , not healed as I still go through daily , but I thank the Good Lord for each day ... Like me , keep fighting , keep prAying , we all will be set free one day ....m

...although I am sorry to hear that you have hit a rough spot.:(

Dreams can be very powerful...and their effects can last a while. I am sorry that you had such a disturbing dream, which certainly triggered your anxiety again.

I am sure that your phsical symptoms are from feeling anxious about last night.

With some time and coping techniques to help you calm down, both body and mind, I am sure that you will feel better soon.
