Ok. First of all has anyone seen the movie "Awake?" I'm going to copy and paste the description.

"The story focuses on a man who suffers "anesthetic awareness" and finds himself awake and aware, but paralyzed, during heart surgery. His mother must wrestle with her own demons as a drama unfolds around them, while trying to unfold the story hidden behind her son's young wife."

Anyway, I watched the movie and I am freaking out. Stupid idea.

I might not ever have to have surgery (knock on wood) but if I do, I'm going to be scared now.

For one, anytime I take some kind of sleep medicine these days, my mind is awake, and my body is exhausted. Now, I'm thinking "If I ever have to get anesthesia, this is going to happen to me" OMG!!! lol...........

Aw, it sounds like the movie did what it intended...evoked a strong emotional resoponse from you.

I have watched quite a few movies where I felt like I needed 'eye/brain bleach' afterward!

With time, these images and fears should fade.

I have to 'watch what I watch' now, as certain things can certainly trigger my anxiety.

I hope that you can keep telling yourself that this was just a movie...and has no direct effect on your or your situation.


Stick with romantic comedies for awhile.;p
