Well, I just went out for an attempted bike ride...was planning on doing about
10 miles, ending with picking up my daughter from school...and letting her ride on the seat while I steer and push, for the way home. (she is in 6th grade, but still loves this)
I got about 3+ miles out and got a flat.:( The innertube was pretty shredded, so I couldn't even use my pump...I tried.
Still, I used my positivity to get me back home...
It was a long walk, with a lot of it around traffic and construction, but then I got into my neighborhood again, and it was a really nice walk back home.
Gotta count my blessings...it is about 65 degrees and sunny, and my legs and arms held up pretty well!;p
...and I had my tunes! This song came on...and I thought the words perfectly applicable.;)
'It's not the long walk home that will change this heart
But the welcome I receive with every start.'
