I understand how frustrated and angry you can feel from all of this that you are going through.

Have you tried this?
After taking your next Xanax, try to spend a good amount of time practicing your coping skills.
Start with 10 minutes of deep breathing, then move on to progressive muscle relaxation, then finish with some yoga/light stretching or meditation. (your choice)
Even if you have not found these to be helpful in the past...do them anyway...here is the point.
Your mind may make an association in regards to how the coping skills are calming you...even though in reality, it is most likely the Xanax in effect...
...but you can help your brain and body into making that connection, and there may come a time when you don't need the Xanax to get the effect...just the coping skills!
Give it a try...you have got nothing to lose, and may be able to use less of your Rx, which seems to be your desire.
