Hi Dustin and welcome.
I moved your post, since you had tagged onto another one, and I was afraid it would go unanswered...I almost missed it myself.
So quitting cold turkey is not optimal of course, but at least you are not feeling the effects of withdrawl too severely...which is good.
It is not unusual for your depression to spike at this time however, since your body and mind are trying to adjust to an abrupt change.
What you do next is really up to you...Do you want to find a med that helps you to manage your A/D? Or are you thinking now that you would rather try to cope using therapy skills?
Talking with your doctor is the best first step, in making your next decision. He/she can make their recommendation, as well as discussing alternative treatments with you.
Ultimately the decision is yours however, so weigh your pros and cons, and go with what is in your comfort zone.
If you do decide to try your new Rx. Know that increased anxiety is somewhat expected and normal during the start up period. If you can push through the initial symtoms however, you may very well end up with a great med for you.
