Rough Couple of Weeks

So the last time I posted I was talking about starting my Lexapro 20mg. Well I have failed and have not done so . I have had so much to do with school I didn't want it to effect anything. My mom has had some health issues so that has been hard dealing with that along with me being away at college.

Ever since my antidepressant trials I have gained weight. Since June I have gained about 40 pounds. I cant contribute it all to the meds though. It is just frustrating. Me and my doctor talked about going on a prescription diet pill and I think I may ask if I can get a script from it when I go see him in march. Stimulants or caffeine have never made me anxious. That's not my trigger. I just want to lose weight and have done everything possible it seems like.

I am not really anxious anymore it seems like. Sometimes it just seems like I am having a down day. Just sad. That was never me before. It's weird. I have a string of exams I need to finish and maybe after I should give the Lexapro a try. I mean I have already gained 20 pounds not taking any medicine so what's there to lose right?

Still have the clonazepam which I am extremely disciplined in using and taking. I think it helps some. definitely not as good as Xanax but I can feel me being a little bit stress free longer than a Xanax would help me.

By chance do you have any experience with Lexapro? I don't want to read online too much because then I will be too afraid to take it . I have already heard some pretty terrible stuff about it
