my job. i keep worrying they will give me something to do which i won't understand. even though i've been in the job longer than 6 months. i guess it's just me, looking for something to worry about.

i am trying to do deep breathing whenever i feel myself getting stressed.

on a good note, i did some looking at cars on the internet this weekend. i also asked a question of my periodontist (via email) so i will have some idea of what my next procedure will cost.

i need to focus on the good things in my life. and remember there are many people who care about me.

You have taken some really great steps recently...and as always, I have confidence that your strength in practicing your coping skills, along with your positive attitude will get you through any rough spots today.

One thing that I would change regarding your statement of "I guess it's just me, looking for something to worry about."...

I would re-phrase that as "Anxiety is trying to affect me today, but I am not going to let it win. I can handle anything that comes my way."

Shift the blame away from yourself, or something that you are doing. You are not looking for worry, but rather have a disorder that causes these struggles.

You are strong and have the tools to battle it however, so face your day with confindence!

Hey Rich,

SC is back and I am here too................you have many people who read your posts daily.

You are a good person and here is another "positive talk" phrase for you - "I have anxiety, Anxiety does not have me !" You be the boss Rich and know that you have the power within to kick anxiety to the curb.  You don't need it, you don't want it.
