What are you doing for exercises? What weight, how long of a rest between sets, do you do the same exercise back to back and move to a new one, or do you work out in a circuit?
Starting out with 2 sets of between 8-12 exercises is generally an average start up, doing between 10-15 reps per exercise, finishing off with 20 minutes of cardio.
That's a super-duper-ultra-basic framework.
Your body craves strength training, and only by working it will you get to push through these experiences.
It's also perfectly normal to have "noodle legs" and twitching, and as I've said before, it's a good, healthy sign! It means your body's systems are awake! :)
