One question I have is about your taking your medication for 4 days and stopping. Can you tell us what med you were prescribed? Most A/D meds are meant to be taked daily on an ongoing basis. They work by keeping a steady level in the body, so you would not want to abruptly quit after a short time...even if you started to feel better.
The expception is a type of med called a Benzodiazepine. These can be taken on an as needed basis...but are not as commonly prescribed as A/D's...so I am curious, and want to make sure that you were instructed properly of how to take your medication.
Therapy is also an effective treatment option that you can always consider. I know that with 4 kids at home, carving out the time would be a challenge (I did so with 2 kids, and working part time) but it is so beneficial and worth it, if you find that you are in need of more help for the anxiety.
Keep talking with us for understanding and support as well. It is part of the healing process to have others understand and cheer you on. We are here to listen anytime!
Talk to you soon,
