Hi I wanted to know. When you keep busy like going shopping or walking the dog or anything active then you try to relax and sit down. Does your symptoms get worse like it punishing you? Misty.

Activities do not
punish
us. Only
we
can do that.
It comes down to your perspective on the situation and experience you're dealing with personally.

Walking the dog or going shopping are intangible activities, and as such, they, in and of themselves, do not have any power to "punish" you. If you are feeling punished, it's you projecting your feelings onto a specific activity, and electing to interpret them in such a way as to avoid working through the feelings you're experiencing.
Make sense? :)

Hi Fred2014. I take prozac and ativan. Ativan calms me down. How long have you had anxiety. I had it 7 or 8 years ago and I got rid of it. Now it comes back. I had it since december. Misty.

Hi Misty,
Fred unfortunately was a Spammer...trying to promote his pharmacy supply business.
I banned him and deleted all of his posts.
It is shameful that these people post here, where nice people such as yourself are seeking help, and to support others.:(
Fortunately, our members are awesome and honest and wonderful...so we won't let the occasional 'bottom feeder' bother us right? ;)
