Nice to see ya again A,
i'm so sorry for what happened to your stepfather. it's always a bad day when someone who you love developed a medical condition.. especially if it's on your birthday.
the nauseous, insomnia and shallow breathing sounds like a side effect from anxiety to me. I've had all those symptoms and pushed them all back. What worried me most was the shallow breathing.
When I first felt it many many many months ago, I thought my asthma was back and I'm gonna have an asthma attack. Since there was no nearby hospital from my place, I started to panic and hyperventilate. It happened ALL the time and it got me worried sick so i got to a doctor's appointment ASAP and did all the tests. Everything came back normal but the doctor declared that I have anxiety so he gave me a muscle relaxant for my lungs so I can receive more air inside.
This kept on going but finally i noticed a change.. I noticed that if i dont concentrate on my breathing, i feel like i receive enough air. But once i concentrate on it, i feel like i can't get enough air and once passed out and was rushed to the ER.
Truth is, what you need is a nice LONGGGGGG hot bath (:
It's just your brain telling you some crap that makes you believe it but if you don't believe in that crap then you'll be fine.
I haven't been sleeping either and this week's the worst. I haven't slept for soo long and got barely any sleep for the whole week. Migraines everywhere but I didn't stress about it and soon, i'm not even panicking.
Trust in yourself that you're fine. You can email me whatever's bothering you and i'll be there to help you get through it (:
It's ok to share everything. bottling it all up is not gonna make a change.
Live, laugh, love.
Joanne
