Hi guys!
Went for my 20 week scan today,and we found out we are having anothe little boy!!
I'm officially outnumbered!
One thing that made me anxious though was they saw that my placenta was lying low, and that I'll have to have a repeat scan later on in pregnancy to see if its moved up!
If it does move it will be fine, but if it doesn't I'll have to have a c-section,and i really don't want that!!
I'm really happy the baby was fine! But now I'm a bit worried about this!
I really hope it moves!! wink

Congratulations of having a baby with plumbing on the outside.  I had 3 boys and 1 girl.  I am sorry you came away from your ultrasound with a new fear but you know that all should go well if the placenta does not move up as the Drs. are aware of what to watch for.  Being  prepared is a huge part of any pregnancy so you keep on getting things ready for the new boy soon to be on your block and enjoy being spoiled which I hope is happening for you.

Be sure to rest and eat healthy.  Spend time with your other little guy as with two you will have to share your time.

Congratulations!

Even though my girls are years apart...I was glad to have another of the same gender...as I saved so many special outfits and toys/decor for the second baby.:) It makes things pretty easy!

I understand your concern over the possibility of placenta previa.
Did your doctor indicate that he/she think there is a good chance of it moving to a more safe/ideal position for birth?

Try your best to think positively, and know that as Kitt mentioned, your docotors knowing about how to take the best possible care in any outcome is good and reassuring news.

The ultimate outcome afterall is a healthy mom and baby. You will both be fine.:)

Yes, I saw the midwife and she said there is a good chance it will move up out of the way!
So I'm hoping this is what will happen!
