increased Zolfo from 150 to 200. increased panic attacks and confusion

I'm new...and I read through a few posts simular to what I'm asking but not very clear on the same issues.

I feel like when someone else describes a panic attack to me...it's not what I have. Theirs always seems to be something they are actually worried about which increases heart rate and the symptoms of fear.

I don't need to be worrying about anything. I can be really into a funny movie at home cuddling with my husband and pups...then bam! I feel like the room got bigger...I'm no longer in my body...nothing seems real...aound, light, touch are all sensitive and irritable. I'm dizzy shaking my heart rate peaks up to 280 my blood pressure 200/120. (I monitor both) I sweat...I can't feel my body parts...I want to die. That is my panic attack. Nothing is real, I want help but won't even get in a car to go to a hosital. These attacks where daily and increased up to 10 times a day. In between I'd have your text book anexity...waiting for the next panic attack. I stopped driving for 4yrs. I stopped going into stores and would give excuses to miss holidays and birthdays because how could I visit family if I couldn't make it to the mail box?

A friend suggested a wonderful doctor. He knew my fear was so bad that going into a building would make me pass out from the attack. So he was kind enough to come down from his 7th floor office to evaluate me in the hospital garden. :) he put me on zoloft.

It took a few weeks but at 150mg...I was driving me and my friends to flordia. I couldn't remember a time when I could drive let alone travel. I've been on 150mg for over 2 years...This fall...After losing a baby...my anexity has been creeping back...He increased me to 200 mg and I was fine for 3 days. But the last 2 days have been HELL. It's like in my panic came back 10x as bad and rewinding back to my first symptoms. He gave me .5 lerzophram to try as well. I guess it's like xanax...but I'm terrified to take it. I was raised to not take medication. It took them forever to get me on the zoloft.

Has anyone else moved up from 150 to 200 and had their panic increase again? I'm so tired of being foggy and confused and having these attacks. This didn't happen when I slowly increased to the 150...what is going on? Why isn't it working anymore?

Thoughts on loerazophram? Side effects? Will it make me loopy? I'm the type that won't even drink because I have to be in my head at all times.

I'm thinking I should stick it out. I don't know. :/

What does Xanax feel like? have you ever tried it?

I think mines worse because I have PSVT & a PFO that makes my heart go into a frenzy.

28 yrs old & I feel like in 80 sometimes.
