EFT for anxiety relief

Hi all
A friend of mine today told me about it, and said that it helped his friend out a lot.

After googling what eft was, I found it to be a finger tapping technique on certain points of the body.

Has any used EFT before? And did it work?

Hi Colin,

The tapping rhythms are just one part of the therapy. It done in conjunction with psychotherapy.

The therapist will initially start off at a baseline/simple conversation level as the tapping is initiated, then going into deeper areas of the patients experiences.

It is believed that this technique can 'unlock' certain areas of the psyche, where deep or previously unreachable trauma has been hidden away.

There have been 'mixed reviews' about this technique from what I have read...however this is true with most treatments for any given individual.

It certainly is worth looking into!

This is a site with a vested interest (they have products they are selling) So you will have to do your research on it.

I am not personally endorsing the site in any way, as I do not know enough about it to have an opinion one way or the other about it.

However, it does look like it has a lot of information on this technique that you could at least read up on.
