I see a fair number of questions on this forum along similar lines -- someone has a "physical" symptom of some sort (pain in the chest, shortness of breath, head aches, etc. -- or, in your case, pins and needles) and wants to know whether anxiety could cause such symptoms. It is almost always that case that anxiety is a possible cause (or contributing factor) for such symptoms. But, it is also almost always the case that there are other potential causes, which only a medical evaluation could reveal. So, sure, the pins and needles might be caused by anxiety -- unfortunately anxiety has many ways of manifesting itself. But, as your question itself implies, there are other potential causes for this feeling. I don't think anyone on this forum will be able to tell you what is causing this -- or should even try. If the feeling continues, you should probably get it checked out by a doctor -- to eliminate potential causes other than anxiety. I hope you feel better and can enjoy your evening out, Medved
