You have the power to free yourself. I know...I had really sever health anxiety and related panic attacks.
I personally went through CBT, did a lot of self-help, and of course had the support and encouragement of this community...and I got out of the hole!
If you have the means to talk to your doctor about
therapy, I highly recommend doing so.
If not...then there are a lot of things that you can do on your own.

You can also look into finding material on our own. My library had about a dozen books on treating A/P. I checked them all out, and took from each what was applicable to my situation. I took notes from them and essentially created my own self-help program!
I know it seems like a Herculian effort to get started, but once you do...you will start to feel better, gain momentum...and never regret getting the help that you needed!! :)
