Stress takes it's toll regardless of the stressful situation...

On days when I KNOW I have a lot to be grateful for, and I even try keeping a gratitude journal, most days life is just a darn challenge!

I decompress at night by watching a new movie or series. It helps to get lost in the story...

I think the only encouragement I can give you is you can't change the boss. Worrying about someone else makes our anxiety worse. Try to focus on yourself and what you can do and don't overthink it. Easier said than done I know, but tomorrow is a new day.

Weary stamped her little foot at work today and said You all have to realize that "old boss" is not here anymore with everything up here! (I pointed to my head) We have to develop a plan to get this situation under control. Tails between legs and yeses. Did it accomplish getting help with the plan- no. But it sure felt good to get it out on the table.

Forced myself to take a half hour walk on my lunch hour instead of working through it as usual. I couldn't really get a full deep breath in I was that stressed-but I kept trying.

Had some good positives happen regarding my son today! God is good.

Sure hope I get a good nights rest tonight.

Last night I had constant work dreams and I'd wake up and lie there trying to figure out a solution to a problem that only existed in a dream :( Stupid. But the dreams were that real & vivid.
