Good Morning SOIA,I agree with you - you have had the Cadillac health medical screening exam and all systems checked out but the health Anxiety just hangs around. This is truly not unusual but finding the right treatment for you is the problem.
I believe what you describe is known as "medically unexplained symptoms" when doctors cannot find any disease or problem
with the body that would otherwise account for the symptoms.
Did any of your Drs. discuss chronic fatigue syndrome or irritable bowel syndrome as a possibility for some of your sx.? Sometimes, there is simply no explanation and doctors cannot diagnose a
cause. This is not unusual in medicine and doesn't mean that nothing can be done
to help you.
I know we almost always refer to your issues as anxiety based, however, have you ever been told you have depression? I have a duo dx. of Anxiety/Depression. Some days I cannot tell you if I am anxious, depressed or both when they kick in together.
I am going to post a link to a article that may help you. Often when I am stuck I look for a new theory, book or article and perhaps take a piece of advice from article to challenge myself. I also use my private journal and often by the time I am done writing in my journal I feel better.
5 Steps to Better Mental Health

I am adding these brief definitions side by side so you can see which kind of symptoms each disorder may cause.
People with anxiety disorders frequently have intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Often, anxiety disorders involve repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense anxiety and fear or terror that reach a peak within minutes (panic attacks).
Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to activity that can affect a person's thoughts, behavior, feelings and sense of well-being. Depressed people may feel sad, anxious, empty, hopeless, worried, helpless, worthless, guilty, irritable, hurt, or restless.
Combining these two disorders causes moderate to severe long term stress. A plan of care that addresses both disorders is needed. I do hope this helps you and of course I will tag on the disclaimer -
If you are
seeking medical advice, consult a qualified health care professional. There's a
good chance I don't know what I'm talking about.
Gentle Hugs,
