Hi andwes, I totally get it. Sometimes I think I should just change my name to Shakey! When we are in the midst of an anxiety attack the feelings such as "jitters", "shakes", "butterflies" run rampant all through the body. It sometimes helps to pinpoint exactly where it originates such as in the chest, diaphram or stomach then think about
that spot and send calming thoughts. I know it doesn't always work, and doesn't always last - but it might give you some peace for a moment or two. Mine tends to land in the shoulder/back area. If I get really busy - if at work I'll sometimes go into the restroom and run in place as hard as I can (ok, so I guess that means my heart is healthy
Then walk around the halls. Of course, I come to this community for support - it is a wonderful place when you know that millions of people are going through the same thing...takes away some of the loneliness. Please, don't make yourself a victim - when you realize that we are the makers of it all you KNOW in your heart that you are not a victim.
Many blessings dear one! Let's hang on together - even if it is by our toenails!
