I posted about my hairdresser a little while ago....I said I couldn't find a good hairdresser. I had my hair severely damaged once from a perm. Then on another occasion (different hair salon), the hair color came out uneven...horrible work. And at the salon I went to most recently, they gave me the worst hairdo ever. lol. He was quite proud of his job though. *rolling eyes*. Instead of cutting off the portion of damaged hair first...he put layers in them

..and very randomly! I went home and tried to run my fingers through my hair and it would get stuck! Omg... 
. What a nightmare. After two weeks my hair was all frizzy and dry. I usually have to sit in the salon for 3-4 hours depending on the hairdo (haircut, color, perm etc) One little salon visit can be quite stressful if I am worried about my hair getting ruined. 
A few days ago I started looking for a new hairdresser...as always..lol...and ended up watching one of those DIY haircut tutorials. I decided to take out my haircutting scissors....did exactly as the person was demonstrating in the video....40 minutes later....Voila!! 
I did it! It worked! The results were a lot better than I had expected. All my split ends and damaged hair was gone! I created just the right amount of layers, too! Now my hair looks so shiny, smooth, and healthy! I am the best hairdresser I have ever had! 
And it was free!
