Hi and welcome!
I am glad that you have joined us...though sorry that it is because you are going through a difficult time currently.
I understand how you are feeling right now, as my husband has started to travel more and more frequently for his business...it can be a challenge to keep anxieties down when seperated from your loved one.
I am going to quote from your post above:
"As in writing this I kind of realize how ****ing ridiculous it is."
I quoted you here to suggest that you may find some help with
journaling. This is a theraputic exercise which could help you in a couple of ways...
...one, it allows your feelings to get out before you talk with your GF and inadvertently unleash negative emotions on her.
...two, it can help you to see any faulty thought patterns, or ways that thoughts might be getting twisted out of what is reality, and allow you to filter them through a postive and rational light.
We have a link for how to journal in our Resources as well as therapy worksheets that can help you to process any specific thoughts or worries.
Here is the link to the complete Resource Guide. There are many helpful sites, materials and suggestions there...even on-line free therapy.

If you would like me to post any specific links for you...let me know and I will be happy to do it.:)
Wishing you the best in your situation and relationship. Post with us anytime. We are here to support!
