Hi HFO and welcome.
I am sorry to hear about
your worries and concerns regarding your meds and upcoming procedure. I know how that feels.:(
I like your technique of not worrying about
the future, staying in the moment, and dealing with things one day at a time.
You can trust your doctor to answer any questions that you have, even twice...as he works for you and it is his job to keep his patients informed and comfortable regarding their care.
The advice nurse is also someone to trust, as she will field a lot of the doctor's calls, but is always in consultation with the doctor about
the patient's questions.
To help keep you centered and calm while awaiting your surgery, and while you start the new med...why not check out our Resources here? (see link below)

We have so many great coping skills to be learned and practiced, that there is bound to be something helpful for you there.
Post with us anytime. We understand and care. We will support you during this time.:)
