What a doozy!!!

Had a bit of a backslide today.. Boy was it a doozy.. Heart palps going crazy, sweaty palms, chest tight, colitis kicked my butt and was nervous about making it to work this morning. Pupils kept constricting like I had a migraine and felt like I wasn't breathing right. Took me half the day to shake it off a bit. Doing a bit better right now because I took my daughter to see fireworks despite freaking out inside. I had one of those moments today thinking "what if" really thought it had to be my heart for sure and almost wanted to go to the E.R. Glad I didn't because it would have ruined my day with her. I'm thinking Monday when I was in panic attack mode over the tornadoes by me, that the side effects are creeping up.. I just needed to vent and look for reassurance from everyone. Thank you all for listening.

keep strong. sorry you had a bad day, you did well and as sc said you pulled through for yourself and daughter. you are certainly strong.

Thank you all very much. Today was better. Some days it's hard to figure out what's causing the issues. I have ulcerative colitis, costochondritis and anxiety. I never really know which one is causing what sometimes. I do know they all go hand in hand though..I continue to keep positive because I refuse to lose precious time with my daughter dwelling on the bad..

Your post speaks volumes, whether you intended it to or not....

But what I got from reading it was how you acknowledged these symptoms, regardless of cause, but did not give in to them, and instead you went about your day and enjoyed your time with your daughter!

That's a WIN in my book!

Didn't realize I had put into words that I know what I need to do. Re reading my post as if someone else wrote it made me think a bit, and remind myself that I am in control. Sometimes it doesn't feel like it but darn it it's my life and I'm taking it back. Today I've had soreness once again so I am thinking it's because I'm back in school. Last time this stuff triggered like this I was in school.. To much going on and I'm not really taking my mind off it completely.. Thank you for helping me see my own words.
