Yes, unfortunately thes issues...anxiety, reflux and strange symptoms like globus can all co-mingle. It can make it hard to distinguish between what is physical and what is more related to the anxiety.
A two pronged approach like you are doing should help to relieve things all around for you. Keep up the good practice of working with your doctor to treat both the GERD and the anxiety.:)
