I can barely breath! There's so much thick mucus in my throat, and even the Kouffman induction diet, a tonne of Gaviscon Advance and all the usual changes aren't helping! I find even food as plain as oatmeal are setting me off. My arms and head start to hurt, I gasp for air amd I literally feel a blockage in my throat. I feel like my bodu is telling me "you must get air or your body will start to die off."
I have noticed it is worse in certain postures. Leaning back in bed for example, which is bad because I need to raise the bed head. Slightly sitting up immediatly relieves many symptoms for a little bit. Water can make it worse and when it happens I have virtually no saliva, and a blocked nose, so I mouth breath if I can.
How much worse can I get? I can't sleep properly because I keep gasping awake. It's scary to lose your vision amd gasp, and it's heartbreaking nothing is helping - in fact I'd say it might be making it worse. I'd blame stress but I can be absolutely livid and feel fine. The mucus is the cause.

I can't buy it here, but I tried its equivalent which doesn't help sadly.

And what is the doctor saying? You also might try breathing in steam to help loosen it up.
