First post here on these forums but I'm starting to become nervous about
a few things that are happening to me recently.
Over the last two years or so I've been dealing with episodes similar to those I took for granted when I was younger. When I stood up in the past and got slightly light headed I thought nothing of it. Now, I nearly pass out every time I stand, sometimes losing consciousness and even hurting myself in the process on a couple of occasions. Some episodes leave me unable to control my body and I shake almost violently if I manage to maintain consciousness through some of the harsher ones.
I looked into it some and found that it could be orthostatic hypotension, and it would make some sense since it's linked to some forms of anxiety and panic disorders. I have had panic attacks in the past, but not sure if this has anything to do with it.
I do have low blood pressure, but I have always been told it was because I was taller.
I am 20 years old, 6'3", and weigh around 145lbs.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, but I'm starting to become very worried.
Thank you for your time.
