Zoloft Side Effects?

I did very well on Zoloft, I really can't remember the very first days, I do recall I had an upset stomach and diarrhea for a while, the only time I became jittery was when the zoloft was upped and it would last a few days.

I have a terrible habit of clenching my teeth, not sure if it is from my medications, I never thought to ask, but I still do it to this day.(when I say I clench my teeth it is not because I am mad, maybe it is a nervous habit)

My doctor always "pre-warns" me, that I will get more anxious at first, but that will subside after a bit.

I always got a little shaky when I was upped on zoloft, but that would go away too, until I reached over 100 mg's and it was the shakes that kept on giving.

What you are describing doesn't really seem out of the ordinary for a new medication, you will know if it is really badly affecting you because you won't be able to tolerate it, if it is tolerable and not life threatening it could just be increased anxiety of a new medication.

Of course always discuss any feeling that worry you with your doctor, but this doesn't seem abnormal to me.
