I think I'm on my computer too much.

I will admit, I'm addicted to my laptop. If it had to go in for a repair I freak out and get more anxiety. It is my lifeline to this group for support and reassurance. But my hand or my fingers get tingly and numb and I know it's carpal tunnel but it kinda worries me, I think I might have ms. In my reality I know I don't but do you guys get tingly numb fingers?

Yes because during anxiety blood is pumped to more important parts of the body, as a survival instinct :) So some of the places is in second place. And, it's known anxiety symptom. I get numb fingers often.

I do too. My job requires me to be on a computer all day and I get it in my hands and sometimes forearms. It's repeated use of the same muscles...as you stated...carpal tunnel isn't unusual with that repetitive use. I actually get it in my shoulders too since much of my tension and stress goes there.

I can relate to this post as I to feel I am addicted to my laptop. If you have any worries re health I always recommend you go and see your doctor to get things checked out.

Just wanted to add that in addition to wrist strain (and eyeball strain!)....slouched over a keyboard can also strain our necks (which can contribute to that whole tingles in the fingers type of deal).

Always good to take a break, get up and stretch and walk around. Every hour if you can. Your body and your mind need intermissions! ;)
