I have never taken Buspar so can't comment but i'm sure some members who have will be along soon to answer your question.

I know that we have some members that are on/have been on Buspar...hopefully you will be hearing from them soon.

You can do a search here (uppper right toolbar) and look at archive posts on the subject...

...but just remember, that doing so may reveal more negative posts than positive ones.

This is natural, as people tend to write about problems much more than reporting that things have gone well!

So while research is a good thing...take anything you read with a grain of salt, and ultimately decide (with your doctors) for yourself.;)

This is going to be one of those situations where "what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another" type of deals.

I was on it many,...(many!)....moons ago. For me, personally, it was not the right med. That being said, I know of people who swear by it.

It may just be a wait-and-see type of situation.
