heart racing ,headaches

anyone else has racing heart,headaches ,fever and body pains with BRINTELLIX or its just me ,doc says it can be panic attack..never had one but is it similar to heartattack~ m confused .pls help

Hi Cilly and welcome.

Is this the first time you have experienced a panic-like episode? Are you taking the Brintellix for depression/anxiety...both?

If your symptoms coincide with starting this med...I would consider asking your doctor about a switch. These s/e's sound severe for a start up of an SSRI.

Yes, they can cause increased anxiety initially...but the fever and body aches sound like red flags. It could be your body is not tolerating this Rx well.

I hope that you can discuss how to proceed soon, and get on your way to feeling better!

Iam taking BRINTELLIX for anxiety /depression both.Depression causes body pain i know but if you eating a pill its weird .

side effects are so many that my pdoc is getting me LEXAPRO but i am too scared to try anything new.
Panic ATTACK are very new to me and made me feel so scared .

I might need separate pill for 2 problems not a combo pill as my pdoc is looking for.
